Coastal scenes have naturally found their way into my work over and over again. Maybe it’s the muted colors, the weathered textures, or simply the slower feeling that comes with being near the water - but I always find something worth painting there.For this piece, I loved the simplicity of the little boat resting in the sand. Rather than creating a busy beach scene, I wanted the painting to feel quiet: dune grass, soft water, sandy neutrals and that small pop of red along the boat.
It feels like the kind of coastal moment that exists between everything else - the boats pulled in, the beach quiet, and nowhere particularly urgent to be.

This is a one-of-a-kind original watercolor painting, painted by hand using professional-quality watercolor pigments on premium, acid-free archival cotton paper. Signed by the artist on the front and back.Presentation & Shipping:
